2005 Supernova
Description
From Mengku Da Xue Shan, a tea with very strong qi, pleasant round taste and very bold in the cup. Like all the various big snow mountains, this one too has plenty of old trees without fertiliser used around them (because of high altitude)
Review from a friend “It made me want to look at the sky, maybe “Sky gazer” is a good name?”
“Supernova” because this is one of the very few tea whose Qi still took me by surprise, deep deep stillness descended between me and a friend, even though we started the sessions chatting, we ended up being silent for a long time.

Paul –
This one has a particularly strong ‘qi’. It’s definitely not an ‘all-rounder’ like some of the others and, for me, it is specifically for meditation and/or sitting quietly in the garden. It induces a deep stillness and quietude of mind that is the strongest I’ve tried so far from this site. Great tea to enjoy alone, prior to a meditation or a meditational experience in itself.
