The tea acted as a launch pad into a deep meditative state and then after a while there was a gentle gravitational pull from the absolute that became stronger and stronger as I became more and more absorbed into luminous white light. In the end there was no meditator, no meditation, just total rest in blissful stillness as blissful stillness.
One of strongest experiences I’ve had without the use of psychedelics. The tea undoubtably acted as a catalyst for the unfoldment of the experience.”

“The ceremonies were held in silence. After steeping the leaves Paolo would pour the tea into small bowls for each of us (the morning ceremony would be 6-8 bowls of tea). After drinking the tea we would sit in silence and observe the sensations the tea is causing in the body. Some of the teas had very powerful effects. The ceremonies were very meditative and during the pauses between the tea bowls we tasted very interesting flavours of the tea.”
